Résumé

The Coronavirus pandemic has resulted in the elimination of the implementation of the Computer-Based National Examination throughout Indonesia, from this case it has presented various kinds of sentimental conversations among the public, especially on the Twitter social media network. From these problems. So research on sentiment analysis of computer-based national exam elimination policies was conducted. The method used in this research uses the Naive Bayes algorithm. The purpose of this research is to identify public sentiment through the Twitter social network regarding the elimination of the Computer-Based National Examination and as a development of research that has been done previously to discuss the analysis of public sentiment regarding the application of the Computer-Based National Examination. as well as knowing the accuracy value of the results of the validation of the Naive Bayes algorithm on the effectiveness of data processing using K-fold Cross-Validation. The results of the research based on the classification data showed that the Negative (N) class sentiment group towards the policy of eliminating computer-based national exams was greater with a value of 0.780, compared to the Sentiment Positive (P) class group which had a distribution value of 0.196, while the lowest distribution value is in the Neutral Sentiment Class (NEU) group with a value of 0.024. So that it can be seen that public sentiment towards the policy of eliminating computer-based national exams leads to negative sentiment (N). After doing the data, it shows that the average accuracy value of the Naive Bayes Algorithm, in this case, is 78.023% with an average Classification Error of 21.97%. Based on these data. Then it can be categorized as a fair classification. The impact of this research is to provide knowledgeable information to see the patterns of language style in the community that result in an assessment of an issue, place, and event, including an assessment of people's perspectives on government policies © 2023 Author(s).

Résumé

Patients with severe and critical COVID-19 may exhibit sepsis and mortality resulting from multi-organ failure. Neutrophil-lymphocyte-ratio (NLR) values, C-reactive protein (CRP) levels, sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA), and acute physiology and chronic health evaluation II (APACHE-II) scores were used to assess the risk of mortality in sepsis patients resulting from severe COVID-19 infection. The adequacy of NLR, CRP, SOFA, and APACHE-II scores were evaluated as predictors of mortality in septic COVID-19 patients at Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang, Indonesia, between August 2021 and July 2022. The subjects included severe and critical COVID-19 patients who fulfilled the WHO interim guidelines and Sepsis-3 criteria. A total of 211 patients were included, which were divided into survivor (n = 116) and non-survivor (n = 95) groups. NLR values, CRP levels, SOFA, and APACHE-II scores were measured within 24 hours of patient admission. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to identify the risk factors for COVID-19 mortality. Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis was used to predict the mortality of severe COVID-19 patients. The results indicated that the APACHE-II score was an independent predictor of mortality in sepsis patients resulting from severe and critical COVID-19. © 2023 by SPC (Sami Publishing Company).

Résumé

This study aims to compare the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic and Natural Disasters on the Hajj and Umrah industries. This pilgrimage substantially contributes to foreign exchange earnings;therefore, the negative potential caused by disasters must be a significant concern for policymakers in this sector. In recent years, religious-based tourism, especially the hajj and umrah (the out-of-season pilgrimage to Mecca), has experienced significant rise of demand worldwide. To explore the impact of various disasters on this industry, using the purposive sampling method, semi-structured interviews were conducted with travel agents in Bandung over the course of two months. The findings from this research are that there is a sharp difference in the destructive impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic when compared to natural disasters. In both instances, the companies suffered from external and internal pressures. The internal problems are the loss of revenue while they still need to pay employee salaries, customers' demands for refunds, and the uncertainty whether they could re-open their business. Meanwhile, externally, they have been faced with strict regulations on health protocols, the weakening global economy, increased operational costs, and ever-changing policies made by the governments of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.

Résumé

The Covid-19 pandemic, or what is often called the corona virus, is currently increasingly infecting the Indonesian economy. Corruption is one of the causes of the nation's very rapid economic system, because corruption in Indonesia is widespread, thus harming the country's economy or the state's financial condition. In this study, the author discusses corruption in infrastructure development in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. This type of research is library research using the juridical-normative type of research, namely research that is focused on examining the causal factors, punishments given and examining the implications of corruption in infrastructure development on the economy and education during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data in this study is secondary data, namely library materials that include official documents, journals, books, libraries, scientific works, articles, and documents related to this research material. The results of this paper indicate that: 1) Factors causing corruption in infrastructure development during the COVID-19 pandemic can occur for various reasons, both from within the perpetrator (internal) or from outside the perpetrator (external). 2). The KPK emphasized that it would give the death penalty to those who commit criminal acts of corruption, especially when the country is in a state of disaster or economic crisis. However, it is all in the judge's decision which decides whether a severe or light sentence is given in giving sanctions in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 31 of 1999 and Law Number 20 of 2021 concerning the eradication of corruption. 3). The implications of corruption in infrastructure development on the economy and education are very negative. The consequences of corruption in infrastructure development can result in access to mobility being unresolved, so that the community's economy becomes bad and unstable. Likewise, the impact of corruption on the education sector can have a negative impact on the quantity, quality, and efficiency of education services. © 2021. RIGEO. All Rights Reserved.
